Is it normal to narrate your life
Readers trust authors to take them on a journey, to deliver what they promised in the premise, and move them, inform them, or at least help them pass the time. Authors trust readers to help keep them in the writing business, both through monetary support and spreading the word.
Most of the time, these relationships are between complete strangers, who will never interact. While reading, we pass the reins of our thoughts over to authors and narrators. Although I notice specific beautiful or awkward sentences, usually I stop even recognizing the wording used in the book. Some books, though, have a very specific voice. The Parasol Protectorate series, for instance has a proper—but snarky—style that is unmistakable.
In another research project on mental modeling, a group of scientists at MIT studied the most productive people at a midsize recruiting firm. To do this at work, Duhigg suggests spending your commute imagining your day, envisioning with as much specificity as you can what you expect to happen, step by step. Is this worth paying attention to — or not?

There's great opportunities here, if you try expanding this skill and narrate the events you see around you, and try to narrate and explore what other people are thinking and feeling.

It's strange, lol. Mines usually narrated by either a British person or morgan Freeman. Go figure. Oh, and sometimes it sounds like the narrator from the wonder years. You're normal.
